Run With the Cops for Special Olympics

This 5k fun run / walk is called “Run with the Cops” and the premise behind the run is just that: local law enforcement comes together with the community to run (or walk) a 5k in support of Special Olympics, Washington. All proceeds raised from the fun run registrations, sponsorships, and various other events at the festival will go directly to Special Olympics, Washington. This run is a “premiere” fund raising opportunity / event for SOWA and is the first time it has occurred on the Kitsap Peninsula. The first 200 participants to register are guaranteed chip timing and all participants will receive a finisher medal. There are fund raising incentives as well. The event and route of the run will include a donut stop, a dunk tank with local law enforcement being dunked, radio station Movin' 92.5 supplying music, local vendors, etc. There are still openings for local vendors and sponsorships otherwise.
